7 am! In eatonville is NOT want I wanted to be doing in the middle of summer on one of the hottest day of the week. With dreading it all the way up there, by the end of the day I didn't want to leave.
I never realized that falls like this could be so miraclous! That this earth was so beautiful and there's soooo many more things to see out there! This hike was 3.8 miles round trip. It sure didn't seem like it! It was uphill the WHOLE way up! And of course it was easier on the way down. Getting to our destination was the goal of the day obviously, but when we did get there we were so happy. I kinda took that as a life perspective. You will have to go up HUGE hills and challenges, but the end of your trip is soo worth those little bumps along the way, and then it gets easier from there.
Olivia, Mandee, Haley and I stuck by each others sides most of the trip. With the ride up there with Sister Anderson being a blast, to the actual hike, almost "dying" together and the ride home made that day so much better. Knowing these girls were and are there for me, along with the other YCL girls from camp is the most amazing feeling you'll get.
